Jerk & grill
Marinated overnight, smoked slow on pimento wood. Fresh off the drum from 11:30am (12pm Sunday).
Jerk chicken
Our pride. Smoky, peppery, juicy right to the bone.
Jerk pork
Shoulder cooked low for hours, chopped to order.
Jerk wings
Eight wings with our scotch bonnet jerk sauce on the side.
Roast breadfruit
Roasted whole in the coals, sliced and buttered.
Curry & stew
Plates come with rice and peas or white rice, fried plantain and steamed veg.
Curry goat
Tender goat in a deep, warm curry. A Sunday taste, every day.
Oxtail & butter beans
Slow-braised until it falls off the bone. Rich gravy.
Curry chicken
Bone-in chicken, potato and fresh thyme.
Brown stew chicken
Browned, then simmered in a sweet and savoury gravy.
Fish
Whole snapper, bought fresh. Price depends on the size of the fish.
Escovitch fish
Fried crisp, topped with pickled onion, carrot and hot pepper.
Steamed fish
Steamed with okra, pumpkin and water crackers.
Ackee & saltfish
Our national dish, with fried dumpling. Served until 12pm, Monday to Saturday.
Ital plates
No meat, no dairy. Cooked in its own pots, with its own spoons.
Ital stew
Pumpkin, chocho, red peas and spinners in coconut milk.
Curry chickpeas
Chickpeas and potato in our curry, with rice and peas.
Callaloo & dumpling
Steamed callaloo with onion and tomato, two boiled dumplings.

Sweet fried dumpling. Two to an order.
Fried plantain
Ripe, sweet and caramelised.
Rice & peas
Cooked in coconut milk with thyme and pimento.
Bammy
Cassava flatbread, soaked and fried.

Hibiscus, ginger and a hint of clove. Served cold.
Carrot & beet juice
Sweetened lightly, with nutmeg.

Our kitchen
No shortcuts. Just a big pot and an early start.
The fire goes on at 7 every morning. By lunchtime the jerk has had hours in the smoke and the curry has had time to get deep and rich. That's the whole secret.
- Pimento wood, not gas. It is slower and costs more. It also tastes like jerk should.
- Market fresh. Our veg and fish come in from Ocho Rios market most mornings.
- Ital done properly. Separate pots and spoons, so ital plates stay ital.

Lunch for the office, sorted.
Staff lunch, a birthday, a church harvest or a wedding. Tell us the date and how many people. We send back a menu and a price, usually the same day.
